El crecimiento demográfico en los Estados Unidos sería tan negativo como en Europa, Rusia o Japón debido al uso de los anticonceptivos y el aborto, si no fuera por el flujo cada vez mayor de inmigrantes ilegales venidos sobre todo de América Latina.
Desde que la Corte Suprema declaró constitucional el aborto en 1973 se calcula que en los Estados Unidos se han sacrificado alrededor de unos 55 millones de seres humanos. Al propio tiempo, el decrecimiento demográfico se ha acentuado con el impulso a todo nivel de la unión e incluso el matrimonio entre parejas homosexuales, que obviamente no se reproducen.
Añádase a ello el avance de las ciencias médicas preventivas y curativas que han prolongado de manera espectacular las expectativas de vida y se entenderá mejor el impacto que el crecimiento negativo de la población, de menos del 2.1 %, tiene en la economía de las naciones.
Si la población vieja y jubilada crece y la población joven y activa decrece, habrá cada vez menos mano de obra para generar medios con qué alimentar a las personas que dejaron de trabajar y a la burocracia que se ha abultado en casi todos los países de manera exponencial.
Porque paradógicamente, junto con la proliferación del aborto y el nuevo evangelio de las bondades del homosexualismo, se ha irrigado urbi et orbi el concepto del “estado benefactor” que prodiga beneficios con dádivas y bonos financiados con gasto y deuda pública sin respaldo.
La situación se está tornando insostenible, con una deuda que llega a los 18 trillones de dólares. El economista Paul Volcker (Véase WSJ), veterano asesor de presidentes de ambos bandos, acaba de lanzar un grito desesperado pidiendo una nueva reunión tipo Bretton Woods como en 1945 para volver a imponer el patrón oro a la moneda. Hoy marcha loca desde que Nixon en 1971 decidió desligar al dólar de ese metal.
Un lector del último Blog, en el que se hacía referencia al desastre de la oleada de niños y adolescentes que atraviesan libremente y solos por la frontera sur hacia los Estados Unidos, estimulados por la perspectiva no solo de no ser deportados sino de recibir asilo, refugio, estudios, alimentos, medicinas y asistencia legal, especula que tras de ello probablemente no solo existen razones políticas ni supuestamente humanitarias de parte de Obama sino quizás pragmáticas o de traición de su subconsciente.
Razona que es iluso suponer que con la crisis actual derivada del excesivo gasto público Obama vaya a reducir el gasto, rectificar las políticas de bienestar social, bajar el exceso de burócratas y menos cambiar las políticas sociales que financian y respaldan organizaciones como Planned Parenthood que proveen gratuitamente abortos, medicinas abortivas y anticonceptivos.
En cambio lo que podría hacer y lo está haciendo es fomentar un trueque de fetos abortados por niños y adolescentes importados por la frontera con México, de este país y de otros de Centro y acaso Sudamérica. Consciente o subconscientemente, así lo dio a entender Obama en una reciente reunión con donantes en Massachussetts. Y su anodino vicepresidente Joe Biden le hizo eco, por supuesto.
Más niños vivos se convertirán luego en más mano de obra barata a la cual se le cargará con más impuestos para seguir financiando a la burocracia voraz y al estado benefactor, ya que cada vez habrá menos gringos pues muchos o no a nacerán por efecto de los anticonceptivos o serán arrojados al caño como fetos inservibles.

President Obama reminded Democratic donors that “our future rests” on the success of people brought to the United States illegally as children, who would qualify for citizenship if Congress had passed the DREAM Act.
“About 30 to 40 percent of the kids in this school, by the way, are DREAM kids,” Obama said Wednesday evening. “You wouldn’t know it looking at them, because they are as American as apple pie. But every single one of these kids, you might not be able to tell the difference, but a whole bunch of them — they’re worried about whether or not they’re going to be able to finance their college education of their immigrant status. They’re worried about whether, in fact, this country that they love so deeply loves them back and understands that our future rests on their success. Why wouldn’t we want to give them that certainty that you are part of the fabric of this nation, we’re counting on you, and we’re going to make sure you succeed? Why wouldn’t we want to do that?”
Obama made the comments at a Democratic Senatorial Campaign Committee fundraiser in Massachusetts, in reference to students at Worcester Tech. “So these young people are graduating, ready to go to college, but also certified nurses, EMT folks. Many of them are choosing to join the military and will contribute to our country in this way,” he said. “And looking out as I was speaking to them and then shaking their hands, and giving them hugs and high-fives and all the things that kids do on a graduation, I thought to myself: How could we not want to invest in these kids?”
Vice President Joe Biden also said Wednesday that increasing immigration would boost the economy, though he extended the argument beyond the DREAM Act kids.
“We need it badly from a purely — purely economic point of view,” Biden said Tuesday, per The Hill. It’s an argument that corporations tend to support, but the White House push comes as Congress is still coming to terms with the shock of House Majority Leader Eric Cantor (R., Va.) losing his primary to Dave Brat, a political novice supported by local Tea Party activists who faulted Cantor for being out of touch with the district.
Cantor’s support for DREAM Act-style legislation, which he announced a few months after the 2012 election, inspired conservative radio host Laura Ingraham to rally grassroots voters against him.
“Now, Ingraham is setting her sights on 2016: In particular, she wants to ensure that the Republican nominee is not cut from Cantor’s cloth,” National Review Online’s Eliana Johnson reported. “Brat’s victory, she says, is a step in the right direction: ‘Everybody that’s hoping and praying for a Jeb Bush run, they should spend a lot of time focusing on what just happened in Virginia.’”
Obama’s team is pushing back against the idea that immigration sank Cantor. “Cantor’s problem wasn’t his position on immigration reform, it was his lack of a position,” Obama advisor Dan Pfeiffer tweeted on election night, citing the success of Senator Lindsay Graham (R., S.C.). “Graham wrote and passed a bill and is winning big.”
